Horse Hill ROPE Jam

Mr. Ozipko playing his fiddle at the annual Horse Hill ROPE (Reunion Of Professional Entertainers – Canadian branch) Jam took place at Roy Powell’s acreage in north east Edmonton from July 15th to 17th, 2016. This popular reunion of veteran country music entertainers, who used to perform or still perform in the Edmonton area, is a homecoming event for many, who gather from as far away as Saskatchewan and British Columbia to rekindle friendships with old band mates and fellow musicians. This year’s gathering was a special tribute to Roy’s mother, Isabel Powell and long time promoter of and participant in the jamboree, Harvey Stolz, who both passed away in 2015
