instructor Biography summary – Jerry Ozipko

Mr. Ozipko is a certificated Music Teacher, violinist, chamber musician, composer and journalist.
A native Edmontonian, he began his musical career with violin lessons from the age of seven, his major teachers of influence having been Ranald Shean, Thomas Rolston, William E. FitzSimmons and Berl Senofsky.
He received chamber music instruction and coaching from the Hungarian String Quartet and the Yale String Quartet.
His orchestral experiences include participation as a member of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Quincy (Illinois) Symphony, the Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Global/ITV Orchestra.
As a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician, Jerry has performed across Canada, the United States and Europe
